More Government and Commercial Choose Cox Marine Diesel Outboards

Cox Marine diesel outboard completed successful in-field validation tests by the US Navy, exceeding expectations with its performance. The trials, conducted on a 9m RIB, showcased the engine's smoothness, low noise, and absence of smoke, qualities that impressed Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) testers. This achievement aligns with the US Navy's goal of improving combat readiness, crew safety, and equipment supportability.

Cox Marine diesel outboards have garnered worldwide interest from civil and government agencies operating fleets of fast response vessels. It offers exceptional performance and greater range than equivalent 300hp gasoline outboards, complying with NATO's single-fuel policy. Cox's engineering team, led by Stephen Moore, has developed the highest power density outboard ever created for a marine application, providing the performance and efficiency of an inboard with the convenience of an outboard.

In Sweden, Cox's high-performing engine has also made a significant impact, especially among professional users such as the navy, maritime rescue, and coastguard. The CXO300's impressive performance and capabilities were showcased at the Marstrand Boat Show and All at Sea events, generating enthusiastic feedback and interest from customers. Peter Nauwerck, CEO of Diesel Power AB, Cox's Sweden distributor, highlighted the engine's suitability for government agencies requiring robust and safe engines for long-range operations.

Diesel outboards, like Cox's CXO300, combine the endurance, torque, and fuel efficiency of inboard stern drives with the flexibility and replicability of outboards, making them ideal for commercial and government operators. Cox Diesel models are specifically designed for commercial users, offering reliability, endurance, flexibility, and agility for a wide range of vessels and applications, from harbor work to coast guard and search and rescue operations.
